Shout out!

Well, the show is over and I really want to thank my husband for letting me do this. For five months I have been gone 4-6 nights a week until very late at night and he and his parents took over the dinner, baths, story time, bedtime, cleanup, etc... each night. I really thank them for doing all of those things so that I could be a part of the Savior of the World production. It turned out incredible but the process and the journey to making it all happen was more incredible. Many miracles wrought and testimonies shared. I don't know that I have ever been so blessed. I don't know that I could ever explain the magnitude of emotion and spiritual experiences that I have felt in playing the part as Mary. The Lord has truly blessed me and I am grateful. But it wasn't just my part. I know that every person who took part in it was blessed beyond measure of the reality of the Lord Jesus Christ and that He lives and loves us. I hope you all enjoyed that show. Thank you Travis and Mom and Dad.

Thanks Mom!

My mom is incredible! She flew down for 10 days to help out the week of the show and a few days after. She is truely amazing and I love her. Our girls especially love her. Avery had a melt down when we had to take her to the airport to fly home. It is a lot of work but my Mom is so patient, loving, kind, creative and playful with them. Thanks mom!

Avery is finally into drawing these days. This morning she brought this picture to me and said, "look at Mady and I!" How sweet.

They are at a rough stage in their relationship because Madelyn isn't old enough to play how Avery wants her too but ends up getting in the way and taking her stuff all of the time. But they are learning and there are some sweet moments.

Spending time with family...

This weekend the girls and I went up to my sisters home in Cedar City. We always have a great time with them. Sometimes I give my sister a hard time because she doesn't have kids yet but the reality is I am lucky that she 

doesn't yet because she and her husband have the energy to play with mine. My girls love them so much. My Mom and her husband came down as well. Now we are only missing my brother who is serving his mission in Fiji. I look forward to having us all together again.

My sister made cupcakes with the girls, helped them plant flowers, and we all went sledding. My sister actually carried Avery up the hill on her back each time.

Because of the incredible demand to see the production of Savior of the World, they have announced a new showing date for Wednesday, April 9th. Tickets are available now. Get them quickly though because we have all but sold out all of our original showings in only ten days of opening the tickets to the public. Group seating is available for youths groups if you would like to take your YM/YW. But book 'em quickly.  It is a beautiful show and I am very excited. I hope to see many of you there.

This has been a very difficult week for our family. On Tuesday I went in for my 16 week, routine OB visit when the Dr found no heart beat. The ultrasound confirmed that our baby didn't make it. From Tuesday until Friday I carried the lifeless child with me until they performed the D & C. It has been emotionally and physically draining for all of us. I am so grateful that my mom has been able to be here with me and help out with the girls. I have also been blessed by the love and concern of friends and family bringing in fresh homemade bread, cookies, flowers, chocolates, tubs of frozen yogurt, fruit platters, phone calls and emails. Thank you so much for your kindness, thoughts and prayers in our behalf. 

The night that Travis and I found out we talked about feelings and premonitions that we had each had leading up to this event. At the time we did not recognize them for what they were but we can see now that the Lord was preparing us for this circumstance. It is hard and yet those promptings helped to prepare us for this and have helped us to accept that His plan is greater than our understanding. 

On a brighter note, I snapped this photo of the girls two days after I found out. They reminded me that even though I am sad, I have two beautiful reasons to rejoice. Even in adversity there is joy to be found. I hope that we can all find reasons to rejoice. 

Savior of the Wolrd

I haven't been around the blogging community much these days because I usually do my blogging at night after the kids have settled down for bed and for the past 2 1/2 months I have been gone 3-4 nights a week from 6 until 10 pm rehearsing for this:
Las Vegas is hosting the largest production of Savior of the World. I have been blessed to be a part of this beautiful testimony building production that is based on the birth and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. The Anthem Stake has nearly funded the entire production including the buying out of the Hendrson Pavilion so that tickets will be available to the entire community for free. We hope to encourage all to come and to invite members as well as non-members so that we can share our testimony of Christ.
The production will be April 10-12. The show begins at 7:30 and is reserved for ages 7 and up. Tickets should be available starting next week. You can visit savioroftheworld.info for more info. Also, I have access to better seating if you would like me to get tickets for you. The Pavillion seats 2,500 so you definitely want to get your tickets early for reasonable seating. I hope you can all take the time to come and even bring someone (investigator) and share your testimony of Christ with them.
