Finally

I have a closet full of the cutest clothes that I have made for the girls and most of the time Avery fights me to wear any of them. She is content in a simple skirt and t-shirt. But finally I have made something that she loves and wears without coercion. I am working on a coordinating one for Madelyn.

The Happiest Place on Earth

I admit that I am not so good at blogging lately but it is such a great tool when you need advice right? I am asking all of you for tips and advice about travel to Disneyland.
When I was growing up we went quite frequently. Travis went once when he was 19 years old. We've never even been together! He has no desire to go back but I have such great memories of going there, I want my girls to experience the magic as well and I think that they are at the age where they will love it! So, I really want to take them. I have asked my mom to join me. I want to go in October for Avery's B-day because I registered her for the free B-day pass. I have heard a lot of people who have had success buying tickets at great prices though ebay. Does anyone have experience doing this. Also, where do you recommend staying? I have looked into the Annabelle Hotel 1 block from Disneyland and it looks nice. Has anyone stayed there? Also, how many days do you think you need to stay to see it all and really enjoy it without feeling too rushed and such? Is it doable with a 5 mo old or should I make plans to leave the little guy at home? Anything else that you can think of let me know. I really appreciate the input.

Hawaii

Our family is blessed in that Travis has a great job. His empolyer is a friend as well. Every summer we join them and several of our friends in Hawaii for a board meeting and fun. This year we brought just Ty as he was only 5 weeks old. Next time I think we will bring the girls.

Those of you who know my husband, Travis, know that he loves golf. So, I took pictures of Ty on a putting green in his little Nike outfit. (Travis also loves Nike.) I thought these pics would be cute in his office at work since he has a lot of golf stuff there.

I'm Ready to POP

Leave it to Megan Sager's to find the cutest theme for a baby shower. I was really excited to have my sister-in-law and Megan coordinate a baby shower for me. Megan found this "She's About to POP" theme and forwarded it onto my sister-in-law and she took off with the idea! I thought this was the cutes themed shower ever! I loved it! Just check out all of the work that went into it, they didn't miss a thing. I really had a great time and got so many cute things to get our little guy started. Thank you to my mother-in-law , Judi, my sister's in law, Lisa and Maliese, and my dear friend Megan Sager's. You guys are awesome. I am also thankful to my other friends who came to celebrate this special occasion. Thank you everyone!

Another Before 9 a.m.

First off I have to thank my friend Christine Hull for watching my girls yesterday for me while I went to the Doctors. This Pregnancy has been filled with an unreal number of appointments because of the high risk nature of the situation and I hate to ask people for help. I especially cringe when I know I'll be leaving Madelyn for an extended period of time. She is cute I confess but she is a handful of trouble. Yesterday while Christine was watching Madelyn, Maddy found some paint and got it all over including the carpet. I feel terrible for that.
This morning while I was fixing one of Avery's shirts, Madelyn got into the med cabinet and downed half a bottle of prescription cough and decongestant. The other half was on her clothes and all over the counter. While I cleaned her up and set her free to continue cleaning the mess, she found an ink pad that Avery left out this morning and just as I finished cleaning one mess she brought a new one to me. She was covered in ink, her white clothes were covered in ink and there was a trail of ink across the walls. So, I clean up that mess and start the wash to get the ink out of her white shirt and hear a huge clanking noise from the washing machine. I ran back in there to check and Madelyn had thrown one of my ceramic mixing bowls in the washing machine.
I should take my friend Jody's advice and go back to bed.
